Shipping Policy

Thank you for being here! We can’t wait for your NORU pieces to reach you.
Below you’ll find all the details about how we ship, delivery times, and customs/duty fees.


1. Order Processing Times

  • All orders are processed within 3–5 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
  • During launches, promotions, or holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.
  • You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order is on its way.

Processing time is separate from the shipping time shown at checkout.


2. Shipping Regions

We currently ship from Canada to:

  • Domestic: Canada and United States
  • International: Now shipping to most of the European Union countries, and United Kingdom. 

3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location, carrier, and the weight/value of your order.

Estimated transit times after your order has been processed:

  • Within Canada & USA: approx. 6–12 business days
  • International: approx. 10-20 business days.

These are estimates provided by carriers and not guaranteed. Delays due to customs, weather, or carrier issues are unfortunately out of our control.


4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For international orders (outside Canada), your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and other fees charged by your local customs office or the shipping carrier.

Who is responsible for these fees?

  • By default:
    NORU is not responsible for any additional duties, import taxes, handling, or brokerage fees charged upon delivery. These are the responsibility of the customer.
  • If you choose a “duties prepaid” shipping option at checkout:
    If we offer a shipping method where duties and/or taxes are clearly included or prepaid in the shipping cost at checkout, NORU will cover those specific charges as outlined in that option.
  • Any extra fees not included in that shipping option (for example, additional local handling or storage fees charged by the carrier or customs) remain the customer’s responsibility.

We strongly recommend checking your country’s customs policies before placing an order.

5. Incorrect Addresses & Returned Shipments

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.

  • NORU is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.
  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal, or failure to pick up, we can:
  • Reship it to you (additional shipping fees will apply), or
    • Offer a refund for the order minus original shipping costs once the package is safely returned and inspected (if items are still in good condition).

6. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Once an order is handed over to the carrier, it is in their care.

  • If your tracking shows delivered but you can’t find your package, please:
    • Check with neighbours/concierge,
    • Verify the address on your order,
    • Contact the carrier directly.
  • If your package arrives damaged, please email us within 48 hours of delivery at admin@wearenoru.com with:
    • Your order number
    • Photos of the outer packaging
    • Photos of the damaged item(s)

We’ll review each case individually and do our best to help you find a solution.


7. Order Changes & Cancellations

We start processing orders quickly to get them to you faster.

  • If you need to update your address or cancel your order, email admin@wearenoru.com as soon as possible with your order number.
  • We can’t guarantee changes once an order has been processed or shipped, but we’ll do our best.
